The DODD collaborates with thousands of agencies and independent providers across the state to deliver essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. With over 10,000 certified providers operating under its supervision, DODD ensures that care is delivered with the highest standards of performance, compliance, and safety for Ohio residents.

The department upholds strict health, safety, and quality standards while overseeing provider certification, renewal, and compliance processes. In addition, DODD offers a variety of professional training and development programs to support ongoing excellence in care delivery.

Currently, nearly 40,000 Ohioans with developmental disabilities benefit from waiver programs that allow them to receive services while living independently, with family, roommates, or paid caregivers. These waivers help fund vital services that promote autonomy and inclusion. Absolute – Richard Supportive Living LLC is certified to provide the Individual Options Waiver, Level One Waiver, Self-Waiver, and HPC Transportation.
